Mixed Media by Evelyn Suttle | St. Monica’s

This time next week, Edenmore will be waking up to a new Window to Eden – Evelyn Suttle’s Mixed Media exhibition will be up, showing us photography and watercolour prints.

Evelyn is a full time professional portrait artist working primarily in water colour and pencil. Her portrait work has been widely exhibited in solo shows in the Centre for Creative Practices, The Yard in Clontarf, Íontas Arts Centre in Monaghan among others, and a number of group shows including the National Gallery of Ireland, Duke Street Gallery and Contarf Castle, … Her portraits are inspired by the stories of foreign nationals living in Dublin, local produce workers and theories about the human face. More recently her exhibition work has dealt with current issues including intensive farming, gay rights and sustainable living.

Evelyn is available for commissions and has portrayed 1916 Rising Leaders, Séamus Heaney, Michael D. Higgins and many more for various collections.

We love her portfolio, it’s well worth a visit – here. We’re certainly delighted to have her!

Wednesday. August 19th. Visit Window to Eden @ St. Monica’s in Edenmore.
